Hawker ("Hawker", "we", "us") is a mobile app that helps resellers turn a photo into ready-to-post marketplace listings. This page explains what data we collect when you use the app, why, and what choices you have.

| Email address & display name | Created when you sign in (Firebase Authentication, Google or email/password) — used to identify your account and secure access to it. |
| Photos you capture or select | Sent to Google's Gemini AI to identify the item and generate listing descriptions, or to produce a Source Check buy/pass estimate. Photos are processed to generate your results; we don't use them to train our own models. |
| Generated listings & sale data | The descriptions Hawker generates, plus anything you enter yourself — cost of goods, sale price, sold platform — are stored so you can view your history and track profit. |
| Marketplace connections | If you connect eBay, Etsy, Reverb, or Bonanza, we store the access tokens needed to publish listings to that marketplace on your behalf. We never see or store your marketplace password. |
| Team data (Business tier) | If you create or join a team, we store the team name, member list, and invite email addresses so teammates can coordinate sourcing and see shared performance data. |
| Subscription status | Handled by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — we receive your subscription tier so the app can unlock the right features, not your payment details. |
| Basic technical logs | Response times and error logs, used only to keep the service reliable and to diagnose problems. |
We use a small number of service providers to run Hawker. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers above and what's needed to operate the service.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app — this permanently removes your account and listing history from our database.
If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Account deletion is self-service in the app; for anything else, email jverner75@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Some of our service providers (including Google and Supabase) process data outside the EEA. Where this happens, it's covered by those providers' own compliance frameworks and standard contractual clauses.
Hawker is a tool for resellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access-controlled infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
